Membership

Membership to the Alberta Parrot Association is available by contacting us at Albertaparrots@shaw.ca.
The annual membership fee is $15.00.

Members and prospective members are welcome to participate in monthly meetings, raffles, socials, and bird demonstrations at schools, nursing homes, public events, and hospitals.

We share information, tips, skills and resources with each other and with the public. The many varieties of birds that our members have include: Parrotlets, Amazon parrots, Cockatiels, Timneh and Congo African Greys, Myers, RedBellies, Indian Ringnecks, Lovebirds, Budgies, Green-cheeked Conure, Maroon Belly Conure, Blue-crowned Conures,  Sun Conure, Hahns Mini Macaws, Severe Macaw, Blue and Gold Macaws, Quaker Parrakeets, Caiques, and Cockatoos.

We are a group that embraces the 'new' ideas of bird care and training.  The belief that these are highly intelligent and complex animals is central and they deserve the best we know.
